Our curriculum explores the range of Jewish life -- including holidays, Torah stories, symbols, values, prayer, and more -- all through the lens of social justice. How do Jewish texts and traditions guide us to live out our values and make the world a better place for all?
Each week, students will be divided into three age groups:
Even though classes will meet through Zoom, this will not be a traditional “presentation and discussion” type of experience. Instead, we are using an approach called blended learning. We will use some digital tools, such as videos, games, and interactive sharing, and will also do lots of guided hands-on learning as well. Three times a year, students will get a “discovery box” that has materials that will be used in class. Expect movement, art, building projects, nature activities, and even cooking!
